I have two interviews this week. I really hope one of them works out because the job search is not great.

Well. What could have gone wrong did indeed go very wrong.

Frankly the events of that first interview could have easily been a sitcom. Especially when the train broke down and started angrily beeping. Ah. What a day. I'm not even upset. That was just downright comical.

Hopefully the next interview will be easier.

Unfortunately the job centre hasn't been much use. My advisor last time just told me that I was doing everything right and she didn't know what else to tell me. So. Yeah. I'm hoping someone somewhere at this centre has links to placements or programs or something. I don't even know. I really hope my search will be over soon.

The state of job applications these days is a nightmare and a disgrace.

Bad news about that second interview. I was seeing some red flags with the company, so I asked my friends. One of my friends had dealt with them before. Told me that I should avoid them and to cancel the interview. Showed me some concerning messages. Turns out it's one of those postings where the actual job isn't at all like the listed position. Which my friend found out in the interview.

I'm thankful for the heads-up about this place. I've decided to attend the interview to tell them I'm not interested. Might as well waste their time if they're going to waste mine. It's a virtual interview so it doesn't inconvenience me too much. I'm still annoyed though.

I have another interview.

I grow tired of interviews at this point. Please be the one that works out.

Two more interviews lined up and a driving theory test. Life is getting busy these days. You may not see me for a while.

Hopefully I'll have some positive life updates soon.

My latest job interview was interesting. They said that I was overqualified for the role but that they were thinking about expanding it based on my experience in other areas.

However, they were supposed to contact me today regarding if I got the job but they haven't. It's been silent.

Hmm. Maybe this means it's a no.

Always either underqualified or overqualified. What to do? :wall:
