Is this something that you're just curious about, or are you expecting a baby soon?
I would say that there is a very wide range of reactions, from disgust to love to horror to fear to joy, and all of them are OK and no indication of what kind of parent you will be. It is very difficult to say what your experience will be, it's different for everyone.
However, culturally we do tend to sanitize this experience and tell stories about how wonderful it is (this is particularly unfair to women, because the "joy of birth" at worst really hurts and is life-threatening and at best is exhausting) and it isn't always that way. Like any other human experience, it is unique for everyone.
