So I posted in the general introductions thread before I looked around the forum. I hope I didn't commit a faux pas, since I don't have Asperger's myself (although it wouldn't surprise me). My 11-year-old son does. We suspected it long before it was officially diagnosed a couple of weeks ago.

I'ma just look around for a bit more and soak it all up.

Don't worry, if you committed a faux pas, this group would be the last group to know.

Anyways, welcome to the forums, I hope you enjoy your stay.

If you have any more specific questions, feel free to post them.

And any potential faux pas you might make pales in comparison to the ones we make on a daily basis.

We have many members who are not AS. Parents, spouses, siblings. Sometimes people are trying to figure themselves out and wonder if AS might be an answer. There is much for everyone to learn from each other, as long as we come with a willingness to accept.

Welcome!
