Here's my most recent post, which discusses how we used a Joke-of-the-Day to help my son expand his literal mind and improve his social skills.

This program has been very successful for my son - and it is one he enjoys! (This morning he actually took his Joke-of-the-Day and slipped it into his Dad's briefcase...because he "wanted to share the fun" with him too! :-)

PS I'd be happy to share my file of jokes, if anyone would like to try a similar program themselves.

Oh yes, please do share! I have a book of idioms and had started to do those with my son, but stopped. I need to start up again. The implications of being able to share something that has no other ties to it, and can be related to by everyone, is huge. Great job Mom, and thanks for sharing. :D
