I just saw this autism screening tool for children 16 to 30 months old.

It is detailed with flowcharts for helping parents answer each of 20 questions. I think it's a good questionnaire for detecting autism early. Might be useful here for parents wondering if their children need to be assessed for autism spectrum.

It's certainly helpful to have a screener like that, though it's clearly made for professionals to administer to parents.
My one concern for a parent trying to take it on their own is that they would see "FAIL" written all over the place, and be more upset about the whole process than is necessary.
