I'm a few months late on this addition to the thread but it needs some representation here, with the soundtrack in question being that of Transistor, developed by the creators of Bastion, Supergiant Games, with the soundtrack itself being composed by the same composer of Bastion, Darren Korb. I almost feel bad posting this because I would much rather have people play the game and experience the music with it, but this is simply too good to be left unmentioned.

All are from the Transistor Original Soundtrack by Darren Korb.

Even though I don't think it has ever been released on CD, I really enjoy the music to the original Ratchet & Clank games. I'm really not into techno style music, but I really enjoy this music a lot, and the games too. :)

I love the Silent Hill 3 soundtrack, and have ever since I first played it 11 years ago. :D

The 8-bit chiptune video game music is cool but gets old after a while because of how repetitive and derivative it gets.

I just like video game music in general from all kinds of genres.

The Bioshock series have a great soundtrack.

Lighter Than Air, Welcome To Columbia, Battle of Columbia, Songbird, Will The Circle Be Unbroken, and all that sad violin music.

The Halo series also has a spectacular soundtrack too. Martin O'Donnell is one of the best composers I've ever heard.

^^ The repetitiveness of the old game music is part of its appeal for me; it's hypnotic. The newer stuff emulates hollywood scores for the most part, which can be nice, but is less distinctive.

A lot of my favorite tunes come from video or computer games. Currently I'm quite fond of the Cyberpunk 2077 soundtrack since it's one of the games I'm playing right now. The Valentinos theme rocks so hard:
