Every game that doesn't have a excellent story to boot. I'm also disappointed at the carebear games that hold your hands. Dawn of War 2 and Mass Effect 2 was a huge disappointment in terms of gameplay. (I demand complex games)

STALKER and Jurassic Park: Trespasser. They could've been so much better if they would've had more time to work on them =/ Still ended up being a lot better than your average videogame, at least.

Thief 2 Gold and Deep Cover for never coming out.

Thief 3 for coming out.

You'll be happy to learn that it's still in development.

You were expecting a Carebear game to be geared towards adults? o_O

Warhammer Online... though, after all the screw-ups Mythic made to Dark Age of Camelot over the years, it shouldn't have been that much of a surprise... :P

Yes. KOTOR II was actually rushed into release and wasn't even completed when it came out.

For me a big disappointment was Battle Stations: Pacific. It looked like it was going to be an epic WWII game but it fell far short of expectations.

To be exact, a game that values care bear tactics such as making it "easier" and thus holds your hand all the way in a video game. IE Fallout 3, and console games /shudders. To make it simple, games that wants to make a game accessible to everyone despite toning down the difficulty to reach its target.

In the add-on of the first Call of Duty game, when you play in the re-creation of the Battle of Koursk. I found it really too short and too small

The Battle of Kursk or the Battle of Koursk?

Oops. "Kursk" ("Koursk" is the French transcription)

The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess. Here I was expecting a grand Zelda of epic proportions that would completely transform the franchise and take it to a whole new level and instead I got a game that was nothing but a mediocre rehash of previous games with hardly any new ideas at all.

There have been several times in SRW games where I've played 2+ hours into a mission and then suddenly lose. Then realizing I did not quick save during the mission so i have to replay it all over it again. >:[

Found a real cheap Samurai Warriors game. Took it home and realized it was just an expansion pack and of course I don't have the game it expands.. >:{ I didn't even know they made expansion packs for PS2 games!

Call of Duty 6. Yeah, It was a disappointment. Nerfed PC game, seizure inducing gameplay, nonsensical storyline... at least they fixed the grenade spam from the first one, but the game was still a disappointing experience considering the huge hype it had.

Any Star Trek game(expect for some really old ones. I'm talking like SNES, DOS era ones) is a disappointment. Game developers of modern Star Trek games need a kick in the balls and need to stop making them as action shooters. It completely misses the spirit of Star Trek which is supposed to be about adventure and exploration, not LOL space shooter and continuous violence. (Which they can't even get right anyway)

Mega Man 2 or 3, whichever has dustman in it. I had just gotten to Dr. Light and realized I needed Dustman's power to damage him, I had one shot left, and he had 1 life left, I fired it and the power went out.

Age Of Conan, Wtf? Seriously you guys at Funcom had years to work on this and you could only stay together with the lousy boss fights and nudity.

I know the game didn't sell well and your probably not very aware of it, BUT I believe it to be the only good Rareware video game to ever appear on the original XBOX. The Gameplay was AWESOME. Sadly I was very disappointed at the Ending. After all the work I put into defeating the Final Boss the Ending just turned out to be Coop and his girlfriend waving goodbye. LAME!
