I am wondering if anyone has played this game in 3dfx using a cvs dosbox version.If so can you post your config file and if that or another fixed the issue of it freezing when saving.

I have browsed some forums before and tried getting it to run in XP in various ways, but i ended up with something running in 5 fps and no sound. I gave up on RG.

I was working on a mod earlier that recreated RG in Morrowind. Someone else took over the project and told me that she were going remake the mod in Oblivion, i dunno how far she got, but you may want to look that up, unless you are specifically looking to play Redguard.

I wished I had xp so I could use that guide but I am running so I have to use dosbox and to run the 3dfx version you need to use Guilkoza's dosbox CVS build but its running a bit slow and freezes when I go to save the game.But on software mode it would crash and give file access errors and say out of memory yet the memory was set to max that dosbox can use.This error I have never heard anyone else mention so I asked the question on the vogons fourms and nobody could have the nicety to even respond or try and help.I wanna play redguard so then I can move onto morrowind because I am really OCD like that.
