Yes, as a PC gamer/geek I should be ashamed of myself for playing Farmville, but I got hooked.

Being out of work means it's one of only a few things that keep me from bouncing off the walls, and it appeals to my aspie side because I can pay attention to stats, master crops, collect various different types of the same animal, etc. plus breeding means I get lots of appreciative friends which means more contact with others - I'm reaching for any sort of social contact right now, so I take it where I can get it, lol.

I play a lot of facebook games. Its a way to socialize, even if it is a poor substitute for real-life interaction. It takes a little too much time, more time than I really have. I like farmville but I have been focusing on frontierville recently. There are more things to do, but I get tired of having to constantly ask for things. It makes me feel good to answer other people's requests, though.
