This thread is similar to the "Your Favorite game for the original NES" one. SNES stands for "Super Nintendo Entertainment System", while SFC stands for "Super Famicom" (the Japanese version of the SNES). This one is very hard, there are so many games to choose from...

(US) indicates United States version, (JP) refers to Japanese version, and (EU) means European or PAL version.

Contra III: The Alien Wars (US)/Contra Spirits (JP)/Super Probotector: Alien Rebels (EU)
Killer Instinct (US)
Super Metroid (US)
Final Fantasy III (US)/Final Fantasy VI (JP)
Star Ocean (JP)
Terranigma (EU)
The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (US)
Rushing Beat (JP)
Sailor Moon: Another Story (JP)

Super Metroid
Zelda ALTTP
Super Mario RPG

Super Metroid is awesome. Gotta admit, though, the guy who says, "The last Metroid is in captivity. The galaxy is at peace" says the word peace in an uber-geeky way.

Super Mario RPG
EVO Search for Eden
Kirby Super Star
Super Mario Allstars (If you could really call it a game in itself)

I really had to think about a top ten. Some were easy.

1. Zelda - ALTTP - Cant count how many times I have replayed this
2. Super Metroid - Ignited my interest in the series
3. Mortal Kombat 2 - It was the best fighting game on the Snes IMO
4. Donkey Kong Country 2
5. Super Mario World - I know people say Mario 3 is the best but IMO this is THE game
6. Super Mario Kart - How come I havent Saw this yet
7. Final Fantasy 3 - Not a fan of the series but this game was/is awesome
8. Super Mario RPG - what needs to be said
9. Secret of Mana
10. Breath of Fire

There are probably lots I'm forgetting but I limited it to 10 :)

Super Mario World (...and its many hacks.)
EarthBound (I really need to play that game. It looks interesting.)
Animaniacs
Ardy Lightfoot (More underrated than even Shantae 1 could imagine being. This needs to go straight to VC.)

I would have to say Chrono Trigger. That game is an instant classic and is one of few games that can keep me sitting in front of the TV for hours on end.
