Gameplay vs Graphics.

What is more important?
Fun addicting gameplay?
or
Good Graphics?
Personally I'd choose Gamplay. why play a game that i'sn't fun?
A game with good graphics but bad gameplay has little to no replay value. what do you think? do you agree? or disagree?

If I must choose....gameplay.

Graphics will make a game great for a short time, but you'll bore of it and walk away.

The graphics on a game with great gameplay must be pretty bad to have the same effect.

Gameplay for sure.

I would have to go with gameplay, for sure. Pretty graphics are nice and all, but if the story, battle system, controls, etc don't grab me then I get really bored, really fast.

I woul rather have a fun game with really crappy graphics, than a boring game with life-like graphics.

Obviously gameplay. Course the industry is hell bent on having graphics over gameplay.

Gameplay. If it's pretty but not fun, it's not worth playing. Games are meant to entertain, and good graphics are not a requirement for something to be entertaining.

Gameplay, obviously. But, a game like the first Final fantasy on the NES is just too hideous to look at in this day and age, even though it is a great game otherwise.

Graphics are important, but gameplay is essential. If the gameplay isn't good, it may as well be a movie.

I still think one of the greatest games ever made was Donkey Kong for the original Gameboy. Great controls, interesting twists in gameplay.

i have nothing against older graphics it all depends on style, i hate sprite animation for one thing.

sometimes you can tell a bad movie by the dazzling effects and poor story. *cough*Nemesis*cough*

I'd rather have an interesting, compelling story than dazzling graphics.

Yet it's the flashy games that make big money. :/

Why can't we just have both?

I'm a little mixed on this. I've seen games with poor gameplay that end up being really good due to the art direction and the story and the graphics. I've also seen games with good gameplay that can be hurt by the poor graphics but if it's something enjoyable (as long as it stands out from other games), gameplay alone can probably keep you coming back to it.
