I used to be a heavy gamer, but I haven't played many games this year, though Skyward I picked up. I recently just beat it, and in my opinion, it's the best Zelda game and tops Ocarina of Time.

The motion controls are perfect for strategic combat, the dungeons/level design are clever, the boss battles are engaging. The plot is one of the most ambitious, well thought out, and emotionally touching that I've experienced.

Can Link finally produce a word besides the screams and moans?

If he could, it wouldn't be a real Legend of Zelda game.

no, but of all games link demonstrates the most emotion and personality.

he actually laughs and cries in this game, which is new to the series.

When I saw the trailer for the game, I threw up in my mouth a little. I knew that Link was never exactly the bastion of manliness, but holy s**t he's gay. It's not just green skirts and fairies anymore it seems. It was like a bad animated fanfic written by a 15 year old Twilight princess with braces. (Wait a minute...)

He shudders in Majoras Mask and I'm sure he cries and laughs in Phantom Hourglass or Spirit Tracks but can't remember which one.

Beat it last night. It was good, but the final guy... so dissapointing. Seriously, a lightning sword? Nowhere near as good as Ganon from Ocarina of Time, that's for sure.

Skyward is a combination of Wind waker and Princess Twilight. Less gloomy than twilight yet less cartoonish than windwaker.

I am in the process of playing it. I bought it for my husband for Christmas. It was going to cost me 90 bucks at Gamestop so i didn't get it but then I decided on right before Christmas to get it for him so I stopped at Fred Meyers and the motion plus was only $19.99 rather than 39.99 and it was just that little piece that connects to the Wii remote. So I only spent 67 bucks than 90. They had ten or twenty percent off thing too for the holiday for that game.

I mostly play my 3DS.

I got Zelda:Skyward Sword and Mario Kart 7 for Christmas. I like how the new Zelda has graphics that are a combination of the cartoon style and semi-realistic style graphics that Zelda games alternate between.

I haven't gotten much further than the first boss battle, which got me really tired afterwards. =p But I'm loving it so far. Is it just me or does it look less like it came from Japan and more from Disney? Anyways this is the first time I'm seeing the Wii at it's true best. Love the game.

Have you played Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2? Gamespot and IGN gave Super Mario Galaxy 2 a perfect 10/10 score which is very rare.

Well, I was referring to the controls and how they actually use the controller to its fullest. I beat the first Mario Galaxy, but I haven't gotten to the second.
