I have a really terrible dualshock style usb controller. I got it because I have the PC version of the orange box and I wanted to play it more comfortably. I mean, I can still play it with the keyboard shortcuts and the mouse, but....meh...

Anyway, it turns out that the analog sticks don't work at all. Pointless.

Oh sure, you can customize the buttons, but it doesn't change the fact that the analog sticks suck. Poor Chell can only jump...

I guess I would need something a little more polished than the cruddy, cheap piece of crap I got.

So, yeah, do you guy have any recommendations? I prefer dual shock controllers because x-box controllers are clunky and foreign to me, byt I'll adapt if I have to.

Cheers.

^^ Greetings MindBlind.

^^ I believe that I really enjoy using a happy XBox 360 controllers for Windows when required. ^^ I believe that I obtained an XBox 360 console within 2008 and found this very difficult also to use the controller at this time as I was not blessed by this controller type within the past. ^^ However, I believe that these controllers are now very happy for me.

Xbox 360 controllers aren't that bad once you get used to them, and I find them a little easier to handle because my hands are huge and they get cramped on the PS3 controllers after awhile.

It's a really a matter of personal preference, if you liked your old controller's layout, get something similar. I recommend a Xbox-360 controller but this is only because it's the controller i play most on. I have tried others but the 360 controller feels more natural.
