It took almost a year but they work again. All we had to do was to go into the game launch start-up options and degrade the in-game graphics. "-dxlevel 80"
Half Life 2 on our Windows Vista now looks like it does on my Xbox in terms of quality but I can live with that since I've played the Xbox version enough times to be used to it.
The games are now faster and the controls are fast too!
Is it me or has the darkness finally left and the dawn just arrived? It seemed like only yesterday the good lives of my family and I became mocked by some malevolent tormentor watching our very lives and creating misfortune accordingly.
