Hopefully they improve the engine so that Obsidian has an easier time making the real Fallout game B)

It runs on the skyrim engine, no? Promising, says I.

Hopefully developer behemoth Bethesda has taken some lessons to heart, so they won't be absolutely schooled by a company with less than 150 employees...

While I COULD get it for PC, it won't work on 360, and I'm not in a rush to get a new console. One game's not enough.

I don't even buy games at launch anymore. I've been too frustrated in the past with being locked out of content, (I'm looking at you Dragon Age!) that I always wait a couple years and buy the complete edition. I've played through the main games in this series multiple times, and I expect that before Fallout 4 Ultimate or Complete is released there will be 3 or 4 expansions so I'll wait and get it all in a bundle.
But I am very excited for this game.

Yeah, the game looks very promising, but I agree on waiting on the pre order because you never know how badly the game might be at first or whatever.

Hhmm... This could be what compels me finally to choose between Xbox One and PS4. No coincidence of course that the 11/10 release date could give me reason to consider it a holiday gift for myself. :D

I currently play on Xbox 360, but Microsoft offers me no incentive to stay with their platform.

As much as I want to pre-order Fallout 4, I think I'll just have to stick with Fallout New Vegas.

This makes me happy that I went ahead and ordered a PS4 with a free copy of Arkham Knight... I know what I'll be doing over xmas break this year.

Also, looking forward to No Man`s Sky.
