I haven't played the game, nor have I read the manga, but I'm curious about it. Can you tell me how it compares to Pokemon?
It's pretty different from Pokemon. The game's setting is mostly urban; it takes place mostly within a large city with patches of wilderness here and there. The combat system is fairly unique, and has some interesting touchpad mechanics. There are about 250 different yo-kai to collect, ranging from cute to frightening to just plain weird.
The only thing that might disappoint Pokemon fans is that Yo-kai Watch has no online component. It's strictly a single player game, you can't battle or trade with other players.
