That might hold true for the regular Switch games but the big box stuff like the Nintendo Labo kits & Ring Fit Adventure are what I really had in mind!! !

Fortunately, I already own 3 out of 4 of the Nintendo Labo kits (Variety, Vehicle & Robot) and Ring Fit Adventure (my first Switch game)

Which leaves the 4th Nintendo Labo kit (VR)...

I didn't have a Switch at the time, so I don't know for sure, but it seemed like the Labo stuff went into the bargain bins pretty quick.

I'm not sure any of us have the insight to answer your question.

Which games are hard to find? I assume you mean hard copies of the games?

Wait...what?!?

Maybe the VR is easier to find in other places!! !

But I think part of why that particular Nintendo Labo kit is hard to find is for 2 reasons:

-Virtual reality is the hot trend right now
-The popular Switch games that interface with it

(Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Super Mario Odyssey & The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild)

I should add that I have found the kit online BUT I am looking for the game in-person at thrift shops, used game stores, flea markets, yard sales etc!

Ever other Switch game I can get digitally on the Nintendo E-shop so the VR Kit truly is the last physical game for the console to get

According to Nintendo's website for the Labo kits, there are currently very few authorized retailers.

They are still for sale, just not in very many places. I have found them on online retailers like amazon.

https://www.nintendo.com/my/dealer/index.html

Ring Fit Adventure seems to be widely available through online retailers, even if not many places have it on the shelf in physical stores.

Nintendo's website says Ring Fit Adventure is currently out of stock, but other retailers have them available.

Finding used copies is likely going to be difficult, as there may not be many copies out there to begin with, if they weren't sufficiently popular. Or, even if they did get sold, they broke to a point where it was no longer usable. Or they're being listen on ebay instead of thrift stores or yard sales.

As UCD mentions - eBay is an option for this sort of thing. You can find almost anything on eBay, within reason.

If you don't have an account, you should sign up for one.

^Not a good idea to get it from Ebay because I would have no idea what the condition of the product would be like (missing cardboard or VR goggles!! !)!

I found where to get the game from online if I have completely exhausted my search in-person

Sellers are obliged to provide an accurate description of the items that they are selling on eBay.

Also, sellers are rated via a percentage rating which is based on feedback received for their sold items as well as any bought items (you can specifically and easily bring up a sellers feedback for when people have bought items from them) and see what feedback they have received.

The higher a sellers feedback is, the higher is the likelihood that you will usually receive an item that is worth buying second hand.

You can also ask questions about an item to the seller, before you place a bid on an auction, or before buying via the buy it now feature or best offer feature.

The VR thing definitely came and went without much fanfare...I completely forgot all about it until you mentioned it.

Really?!?

I love the concept of the Nintendo Labo kits and think they are the coolest innovation from Nintendo since the Wii Channels!! !

The Toy-con VR lets you do STEM activities such as Marble Run in Virtual Reality which sounds intriguing...

Croc sold out with no resales and then restocked again. Didn't get it sadly.

^can't you just get that digitally on the Nintendo Switch E-shop?

The only things that aren't available for digital download are the aforementioned Nintendo Labo kits and Ring Fit Adventure because both of those games cannot properly function without their intended peripherals (cardboard & Ring-Con controller)! !!

But Nintendo does have the cartridge for Mario Kart Live Home Circuit on the E-shop which does not make sense because it much like the Labo kits and RFA is dependant on peripherals

Hmm...

EDIT: I just looked on the Nintendo E-shop and Croc is 30 dollars @ElmersTrueLove

Some of us prefer physical copies :)
I think I might've missed out on Metroid Dread...
