I have the first DS. It fell of my desk while the alarm was going off. The smaller of the two hinges broke it still work, until now the top screen is only white and nothing else. So can it be repair?

You could send the DS in. My cousin had a similar problem and she got a new one for half the price. Where you have to send it must be written down somewhere on the instruction booklet I belive. But If the screen is not broken it might be possible that it could be fixed in the shop where you bought it.

It can be fixed, the question is how much it will cost to fix =/

Don't remember how much it cost me, but I had to replace the lower touch screen and the L button on mine...and I should probably replace the R button soon.

A screen replacement cost aproximately $40 US or less.

Could be even cheaper if it's just a loose or damaged ribbon connector.
