I mean, at least it's private... as opposed to, you know, going on national tv or radio and doing the bootlicking in public. I honestly don't know what's wrong with these people... it's like they never had a shred of shame, sometimes. Like, even these lawyers, who are normally all serious, are capable of suddenly licking the innermost parts as long as they belong to their leader. What the hell... I wouldn't do that even if I was paid lots for each lie, and even then they only seem to do it just so they won't be booted out of some stupid cabinet. Ugh, seriously... at least real sex is fun too. What on earth is this? I can only imagine it being a fetish for them, because it's just awful for everyone else (apart from, I suppose, the one whose anus they clean...)

the monetary reward makes politics more attractive, plus the monetary reward increases with age.
in prostitution on the other hand monetary reward decreases with age, and for those, as well as biological and cultural reasons, it's not a great option for old men in particular. so what are those poor millionaires to do, in order to pull themselves up by their bootstraps (which used to mean: do something physically impossible. but in the US, it turned into unironic advice for poor people).

I thought politicians were prostitutes.
Not only do they *uck up the country, they also *uck integrity, honesty, the Truth, and the taxpayer.

Public service vs pubic service?

Politicians screw the public.

Prostitutes get screwed BY the public.

But there can be similarities.

Pols do stoop to incredible depths. Like during the primaries rightly call out your opponent for being a "grifter", and for being a "coward",who is "threatened by assertive women like my wife", and then when your opponent become your party's nominee, and then the POTUS...deny ever saying any of that, and becoming that one time opponents chief henchman.

I am sure that Trump (Eddie Griffin) and Ted Cruz (Rob Schnieder) probably shared the hot tube at Mar-a-lago, and had conversations much like this.

Although some high class call girls can earn as much as politicians the comparison is unfair.

Politicians are held to a higher level of esteem (whether you like it or not) and prestige. They attract the same attention as celebrities and popstars in public.

In contrast prostitutes are one of the most stigmatised groups in society. They are treated very unfairly.

While I would never utilize their services, I support legalization simply to break the stranglehold that Evangelical Christians have on this country.

Plus in the red states, law enforcement is practically state-sponsored terrorism, no different than the Gestapo or the Saudi Vice and Virtue squad.

Recently, we had an Australian politician prostitute himself via "Payment for comment".
The goose was defending China's takeover of the islands in the south seas, in a parliamentary session.

The dummy had to leave the ministry when the authorities "connected the dots".
The word "Traitor" was bandied around, at the time.
