This is such a good documentary about fish and how the world treats them. Very eye opening. I remember there was I time when I used go fishing. I thought fish were dumb. I didn't think they felt pain each time I hooked them and dragged them out of the water. I just assumed my actions were harmless because everyone else was doing it.

Why is it that humans show so little compassion when it comes to fish?

It's okay to eat fish because they don't have any feelings.

I do agree that fish get the short end of the stick when it comes to animal rights.

male chicklets get ground into a paste and fed to farmed fish. fish remains are ground and fed to female chicklets. Chicken make male chicklets.

I'm not totally sure if there can be a hierarchy of awful treatment of animals, but if there is one, I'm not totally sure if fish get treated a whole lot worse than other animals farmed for the consumption of their bodies.

Betta fish in a small jar half full of dirty water on pet store shelf.
Goldfish tend to be treated as disposable pets.Flush down the toilet and get another.Repeat.
It’s all bad.
