Only inspection of the original, huh? That's a pretty high standard. I don't hold that standard. A copy, combined with the other evidence put together, like the announcement of birth in the newspaper, is persuasive. After that point, the burden is on any doubter to show that this was fraud.

The way it was dated and the message "I certify this is a..." also appear on mine, though mine appear on the back--this is a short form, however. As well, it was signed by the same state registrar, Alvin T. Onaka, Ph.D. His copy was dated 4/25/2011 and my copy was dated 5/11/2011. :p
EDIT: We were also born in the same city, island, and county.
