Oh, quantum theory, how much rubbish is tossed around in thy name....

Multi-world explanations are theoretically interesting to discuss, but they are untestable and therefore irrelevant to real life. This is the world you have; this is the life you have. Deal with it.

If you actually bothered to read the article where Tegmark (then of Princeton, now of MIT) brought up quantum suicide, you would have seen that he brought it up as an experiment which may be able to distinguish the two experimentally (for one observer). :roll:

The entire movie Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium seemed loosely based around this quantum hypothesis, although it was never mentioned in the movie.
