Ouch. Low blow!

Orwell, like all monsters before him, is trying to undermine people who lack his Moses/Bin Laden like beard. Can we trust a man who thinks this guy isn't a good symbol of stridently atheistic rationality?

Strident, yes.
Atheist, yes.
Rational, ... uh, perhaps if he were divided?

Ah, now why would you ever think something like that about either of us?!

Because it is the only sensible reason to vote for Master_Pedant.

Now, that's not nearly civilized enough. We need a contest which will determine who is the clearest-headed and strongest-minded of us all. The contest most suited to that is, of course, the noble and ancient game of chess. A propose a double-round-robin tournament between all 9 candidates to decide who shall be the next leader.

If I ever have an opportunity to select my own opponent, I do so.

So you can disqualify them from your fundamentalist elections?

....

I'm not Orwell, I don't think Orwell even lives in the same state (U.S. State) that I do. I'm finding the being called Orwell to just be plain annoying, I'm not even running in your mock election...

Query: Is one allowed to sue someone in this mock election?

Probably. Heck, as long as there's a mock election there might as well be a mock trial too.

I sue Master_Pedant for facetiously threatening me with fictional violence prior to my doing the same. 100 Trillion Zimbabwe dollars will not be sent to the winner.

Drat, I've blown my cover! Everyone knows that only liberals file frivolous lawsuits.

While you may think it is funny, to someone that isn't even in your mock election it is getting annoying. If you all want to engage in slamming each other fine, but attacking individual citizens is out of line.

Okay, everyone, leave Inuyasha alone, please? It is not humorous when people are talked about behind their back, and it is certainly not funny when it is continued after the request for it to stop has been made. For the first person to violate this I will compose a diatribe against them in Latin.
