Pat Robinson! You're a bully! Why don't you actualy READ what Jesus teaches if you're such a bible scholar!? Jerk. You belong in the stone age.

The LORD is a jealous God, filled with vengeance and wrath. He takes revenge on all who oppose him and furiously destroys his enemies! The LORD is slow to get angry, but his power is great, and he never lets the guilty go unpunished. He displays his power in the whirlwind and the storm. The billowing clouds are the dust beneath his feet. At his command the oceans and rivers dry up, the lush pastures of Bashan and Carmel fade, and the green forests of Lebanon wilt. In his presence the mountains quake, and the hills melt away; the earth trembles, and its people are destroyed. Who can stand before his fierce anger? Who can survive his burning fury? His rage blazes forth like fire, and the mountains crumble to dust in his presence. The LORD is good. When trouble comes, he is a strong refuge. And he knows everyone who trusts in him. But he sweeps away his enemies in an overwhelming flood. He pursues his foes into the darkness of night. (Nahum 1:2-8 NLT)

I have not come to abolish the Law or the Prophets
- Jesus

Jesus just fulfilled prophecies about animal sacrifice.

I don't see what isn't perfectly accurate with Pat Robinson's viewpoint as a christian.

You have to respect that god hates Haiti.

I agree someone needs to muzzle that guy.

Yes, he and Fred Phelps give us good Christians a bad name.

"You give faith/a bad name..."

Parody of Bon Jovi's "You Give Love a Bad Name"

Maybe Dr. Robertson needs some meds, if he isn't taking meds already.
He sounds like someone who's has Tourette's or ADD.

The preacher has a right to express his views no matter how wretched his views are. If you value your own freedom of speech you will defend his.

Agreed.

Ok so ya, I admit the freedom of speech issue, but is racism, hate mongering, lying crap should be allowed without conquences...not legal, but at least socially?

I'm going to have to agree with you guys, we don't have any record of an earthquake-related pact being made in that area.

if it is any comfort to you, he made an @$$ of himself in scotland a few years back when he called the nation "a godless country" - he was given the bum's rush out and told not to return.
his senator daddy got him out of korea [he was a marine officer], got him promoted to lt. colonel, plum assignments, et al. born with a silver foot in his mouth. he just can't help being offensive. he is not substantially different from "the big fat idiot" or the guy dressed as a nazi on the cover of his latest book. and just like those folk, you should ignore herr robertson as well, it does no good to one's sanity to dwell on evil ones such as those warmongers.

During the second half of the 1980s, I remember Pat Robertson saying something like "I know where the hostages are being held in Beirut".

The hostage-takers were very paranoid. Whenever they thought the hostages were blinking in morse code or sending coded messages in letters or videotapes the hostage-takers sent out, they physically beat the hostages almost to unconsciousness (Source: Lt. Col. Oliver North's book).

As a Christian, I wish this guy would go away. Somebody should tell him what danger loose lips can create. And how he brings down the reputation of every Christian.

Sadly, the chances of one of us getting in his inner circle and having a frank talk with him are roughly zero.
