It's really depressing to know that at least 1/3 of my paycheck goes towards feeding people who think this way.^^^

How unappreciative.

wait I'm a little confused......your paycheck goes to people who feel like people on welfare or disability are money sucking parasites?

People who are on welfare or disability referring to tax payers as "greedy".

How many poor families did you feed this year?

I was being sarcastic, if you did not get that........but what was said is the people on welfare are greedy for wanting shelter, food and access to healthcare, it was a joke though I was being satirical. But anyways I never said tax payers are greedy though I am sure since most citizens are taxpayers some of them are greedy, especially the ones who think the way I described about people on disability and welfare.

And if I had the means I would feed every poor family I could find unfortunately I don't have much myself and the only reason I'm not living on the street is because my moms letting me stay at her house so yeah I was not able to feed any poor families.

Yeah, I got the sarcasm. The idea that someone should be able to force someone else to pay for their existence is disgusting.

Isn't it funny that the ones who support communism never have anything to contribute to the commune?

Ok so what do you suggest we just kill everyone on disability so nothing you pay in taxes ever goes to helping someone? the attitude of we should just leave people who don't have the means to survive on their own to die when we have quite enough to help those people is far more disgusting then the idea people should help each other.

That said I am not huge on taxes I don't know that is the best way......not to mention half the time the taxes don't even go to things that help anyone or to any public services. But I see nothing evil about the idea people should be somewhat obligated to help each other out......just on the basis of common decency.

Also I don't see where I implied I would have nothing to contribute to a commune.....yeah I don't have a lot of money. I have things I can do though to help so if I were in a commune I would certainly have things to contribute. As is if I stay over at someones house especially more than once I'll do their dishes, clean for them, even cook for them if they wanted so I am not one to take advantage without contributing something.

So you agree we should stop paying for military adventurism since it requires the forced extraction of capital from the private sector to pay military personnel? Also, as I understand it, most politicians live on the public dollar. I would rather my tax dollars go to something meaningful, like helping impoverished people not die.

Well, I have a great deal to contribute, and I like the idea of a self sustaining commune. That's what a base on Mars would be...

Were we to eliminate or greatly reduce military spending, both priorities could easily be met with change to spare.

How is helping people who are struggling not meaningful?....and what should they build a school specifically for your child and make sure they get the best education with the tax money? and yes it is greedy to only think of what's best for you and your kids with no consideration for people in general and then even try to claim it is disgusting to use taxes to help those in need. So sorry if you being greedy offends you but it is what it is don't try and act like its people who support programs to help people who are the greedy ones.

The only problem with a base on mars is that there are no rivers there. Were I to build a shantyboat, people might think I'm crazy. 8O

The current administration is not really serious about manned space programs except for ISS which is a boondogle. Second, we don't have the money that now. And third, even if we did that is 20 to 30 years off.

You mean a bunch of different countries piecing together something in space is not a good idea?

I said the U.S could not afford it. Maybe we can make small pieces. The days of U.S pre-eminance in manned space flight are behind us.

It's going private. That's not a bad thing, the USA does not have a national airline. Except for those Area 51 flights.
