I think Trump will survive the recount.

I think Trump is too buddy-buddy with Putin.

But the Middle East will not be destroyed.

For ME (and even Barchan referenced this), it goes-back WAAAAAY further, than WW2. IMO, that land belonged to the Israelites BEFORE they were made, in The Bible, to wander in the desert, for 40 years----and, it was promised to them by God, that it would be their land, when they returned (and they have been fighting over it, ever since).

I don't feel they (the Jewish people of WW2) came-up with the solution----again, I feel it was ordained by God.

Sure, I can understand your being angry----just like I can understand the Palestinians being angry----but, like you said: "It's true"; as it is true, IMO, that that land belongs to the Israelis.

Even if Trump survives the recount. Republican senators like Ron Johnson may end up losing. Preventing Trump's ability to undertake his policies.

I'm a Jew.....but I understand the anger of the Palestinians.

How would like to be forced off your land by people seeking to create a state for some other religion?

I personally feel religion is unimportant. The bottom line for Israel (and the United States) is money. If any religion claims to practice equality and love for their fellow man and in reality they hide behind their supposed religious beliefs to oppress people, they are hypocritical. I feel the real problem is the insincerity they show.

I think when any group starts claiming that they have special privileges because God says they do, there's going to be trouble.

Gnostic Christians like me were and are esoteric ecumenists. You might say that to the old Abrahamic cults of Muslims, Christians and Jews, we were the religious whores of those old days, thanks to the fact that our mystery schools would pick and choose the best tenets of all religions and work them into our Universalist creed. We would not tie ourselves down to becoming idol worshipers of imaginary demiurges the way Muslims and Christians did in ancient days and continue to do today. The fool says in his heart, I know who God is and who his prophets are.

This was probably the best part of the thread. I'm just glad I wasn't drinking anything when I read it, it would have been all over my screen and keyboard.

Faith based feelings are not worth any more than your imaginary God.

What solution would you have proposed?
