Idolatry , graven images ...... heritage ...... won’t anybody think of the artistry and work behind these statues.
Seriously though. Some people just want to larger powers to think of the average human and treat us like humans.
Be. What , the people asked them to be , responsible Public officials that answer to the public .
Which doesn’t appear to be Happening . distracting things. Like idol smashing , making laws to wear masks and
Distracting the public with covid will not repair this situation.

that is why i think they belong in a museum of hate. that is a good middle ground, let the surviving white supremacists get their jollies in the museum worshipping at the clay feet of their idols of mediocrity, while simultaneously removing a psychic assault against POC, from public view.
