So only conservatives pay taxes? And what about those poor southern whites who are on public assistance, but judging by their politics (think the rich are over taxed, think Obama was born in Kenya, think interracial marriage should be re-illegalized, etc), are they too, not conservatives?

On average, conservatives are in a higher tax bracket and therefor pay more taxes. How do I know this? Simple; why would anyone with a good income need to be a liberal when they don’t need welfare?

As you may recall, I had to part with my beloved Valiant. I now own a Mustang.
Ah, yes. I had to go back and search for it but yes, you now own a Mustang. However, you made no mention of it being a real Mustang ( a GT), it’s a ’97, and you're making payments on it. Really, payments on an 18 year old car?

And trashiness is in the eye of the beholder. Did literary giants like Poe and Lovecraft write trash because they specialized in horror?

Horror has never horrified me making it ineffective on me (i.e. boring).

The blind progressive protectionist in you can’t help but denigrate my guns but the more you denigrate them the more I love them.

As for my not answering some of your points - you can only knock me down a notch or two in your dreams. As for my reasons why I did not, I hearken back to what one of my college professors had once told a fellow student: "It's not that I don't respect your opinion; I just don't have time for it."

How many posts do you think I can go back and find where you've indicted that I've winged you? :P

Chew on that for a while.....

As far as the rich automatically rejecting liberalism, you can tell that to George Sorros, Stephen King, most Hollywood actors, producers, and directors, Elan Musk, and tons of others. And you know what separates the individuals who I named from the right wing wealthy? They had earned their money, not inherited it. In fact, not everyone who has money lacks a heart - that's why they vote for the political position that offers a hand up to those in need.
And regarding my 18 year old Mustang - I am in fact finished with payments. Not all of us have money on hand to buy a vehicle outright. And by the way, I never once missed a payment.
As for horror not scaring you - you haven't read my fiction. Then again, you reject the wonder of comic books, so who knows how limited your appreciation is.
As far as winging me - again, only in your dreams.

Hollywierd actors, producers, directors and other white bread liberals are hardly mainstream.

I've read less than one and one half Stephan King novels if that's what passes for horror. I read part of The Stand but got bored with it. I read all of From a Buick 8 and found it intriguing but not scary.

These 'studies' are more indicative of what is wrong with American politics, rather than the subject of the study.

It doesn't change vaccine politics, which should be debated in its own right.

This is about is meaningful as an overpaid social anthropologist/or futurist coming up with a report on something.

Anyone getting tired of these "Dem/Con-t*rd are more likely to [insert nonsense]?"

The number of people who believe this are in a minority, as it is.

Hollywood isn't mainstream for whom? They are closer culturally to some parts of the country than others. And even so, who cares if they're in or out of the mainstream - they're the filthy rich who vote liberal, AND pay taxes.
As for Stephen King being scary or not - horror is in the eye of the beholder. What scares me might not scare you. Besides, horror doesn't have to be scary to be enjoyable. I do agree though; not everything King had written is of equal worth, as It was so unforgivably boring that I wasn't ever able to finish it, no matter how many times I had attempted to read it.
As for stringing me up - again, that is in the eye of the beholder. :P
