This proves conclusively that there's a hell, and you're headed for it unless you use your 'god-given conscience' and start believe in god.

No.

Jesus never used propaganda to spread the gospel, so follow his footsteps and DON'T use propaganda to "save" others.

Unbelievers who hang around christianity are like homophobes who hang around gay bars.

Maybe you should ask yourself "Why am I so interested in this?"

I'd say because christianity is EVERYWHERE! and you can't help but be around it can you?

Also not knocking your beliefs, I respect that you have them and expect the same respect in return for mine, but.....

That proved nothing it was nothing but random Fallacious conjecture set to a movie trailer.
To a movie, I might add, that was made by the same guy who did the Evil Dead series which was famous for its campiness.
So why would I take that as proof of anything rather than just some guy ranting incomprehensibly on a Youtube video?

What I know is your religeon hasn't been around that long at all. Even less so if you just count modern christianity and not christianity as a whole.
Its gone through many premutations you see, study the history of what they believed in different eras of history and you'll see that.

So tell me, why should I share your belief system?
One that orginated a relatively short time ago and which started as a marginalised doomsday cult in the middle east no less?

I think I'd give modern christianity some more thought if it stuck to it's guns as far as whats in it's holy book. (which has been retranslated over and over again and the earliest copy they've found is several generations removed in origin to the time when Jesus was supposed to live in)

I could go on but I don't want to be mean.

P.S. I have many lovely christian friends some of whom are actually pretty conservative and I find it awesome that we can discuss such things openly let alone simply be friends to begin with in this modern age.

I wanted to debate faith I'd go to an Apologist website, they enjoy it. The more regular PPR posters know (or should) I'm not an Evangelist, nor an Apologist.

It's like music here, bad music. Everyone bangs, chimes, blows or tinkles the same note all the time.

Well I am an atheist (but was raised in a very strict fundamentalist Christian household so I do have background with religion) but I still find Christianity (and other religions) fascinating. The concept of "faith" to me is very interesting as I find it completely irrational and I am always curious as to why some people can be so irrational.

On top of that, Christianity impacts negatively a fair bit on society and I have an interest in "knowing my enemy". Christianity encourages homophobia, sexism, religious based wars, pro life legislation, anti-drug legislation and a slew of other things that I disagree with.

Are you *censored* kidding me?

In all my years on the internet, I've never found a crazier bunch of banging, hands-over-ears, flaming crowd of Christians such as on Christian Apologetic's Research Ministry.

Um, no. What you believe to be "christianity" is often a shallow substitute for it.

It's easier to play Christian than to actually try to live it, and those who do that only make the sincere ones look bad.

I live in the "Bible Belt." I spent about 4 years out west where the religious attitude was "live and let live." I see a lot more "fake christians" here compared to out there.
