http://www.latimes.com/nation/la-na-med ... story.html All I've got to say is that it's about damn time! All drug prohibition laws are a clear case of the federal government overstepping its boundaries. Hopefully this will be the beginning of the end of the war on drugs.

Perhaps you failed to notice that the last minute "must pass" budget bill got a bunch of garbage stuffed into it, including a provision that over-rides the Washington DC decriminalization measure voted in by the DC residents in a 2/3rds majority.

Gotta love those "representatives" from a completely different geographical region making sure that the majority of DC residents are saved from the unholy evil that is marijuana.
