Now, the religious ideas in the XKCD comic here are obviously ridiculous on some level, but are existing religions LESS ridiculous? Obviously not. Because they are so ridiculous, our purpose and goal needs to be ridiculously ridiculing the ridiculous until it is really ransacked by the rampaging riddles posed to it.

After all, any belief that requires a person to have resurrected from the dead 2000 years ago according to the supposed perceptions of middle-eastern fisherman, or to claim that mysterious and otherwise unseen golden tablets were found in the Americas, or where the founder is a science fiction author, or where the Messiah is a currently living African governor, or anything else like that, is by its nature, so questionable that dismissing it without further thought or evidence is justified. Even recreational lies can be more plausible than these claims. http://basicinstructions.net/basic-inst ... poses.html

For that reason, I encourage everybody to point out that M_P's scientological beliefs are problematic, and that he needs to renounce his oft-stated adherence to L. Ron Hubbard's Dianetics. It does not actually heal the things Hubbard claims it does, and there is no scientific basis for it. Please tell M_P to give up scientology.

You can't deny something without restating it, as Obama found out.

Now, why is AWESOMELYGLORIOUS FAILING TO ADDRESS THE MATTER OF HIMSELF BEING A STRIDENT ZOROASTRIAN?

Ok, I am not a Zoroastrian. You're still a Scientologist though. :P

M_P, you clearly edited my comment, however, this is clearly NOT an edit of anything you've stated. It's truly what you believe.

Typical AG, denying your own words while fabricating words into Master_Pedant's mouth. Master_Pedant soft rocks!! !

Anyway, since I'm only (relatively) poor and crazy, I don't meet the sufficient conditions to be a Scientologist.

Whenever Zoroaster brings miracles to the faithful, he uses his divine flame to burn an elaborate Z into their favorite piece of furniture, so that they will forever remember him. True story

Well, it's better than what other people "fabricate" into your mouth.

See, even if the accusations are all false, M_P can't even get accused of a decent religion that he doesn't actually follow! That's reason enough to vote against him!

The pun was terrible. It deserves the death penalty, if only because soft rock sucks.
