Everybody please watch this... It is an extremely sad video that should make you think of how you raise your children under religion. And I would advise you to watch it no matter what you're religion (or lack of) is.

This video is stupid. It should not be used to attack faith, but rather religion.

It is stupid for pointing out the clear mental and emotional abuse Religious parents put their children through?

It's stupid to assume every religious person follows the corrupt church.

The shame, fear, and guilt that the Judeo-Christian religions brainwash into people is some of the worst aspects of religion and examples of how abusive it can really be. They provide some of the worst psychological/"spiritual" leadership.

Did you watch the video? If you were a Christian you would believe THE BIBLE and this video takes from what THE BIBLE says and not what new age Christians are trying to change it too so that they don't look bad for being Christians and supporting such an evil and hateful book.

Even with trying to soften the image, you're still talking about worshiping an invisible boogeyman.

Not to mention subjugating yourself and your money to people who are, for the most part, wholly unqualified to control your life.

What was it you said in the topic about paying a dollar for saying gay? Something like "you shouldn't pick on people who have done NOTHING to you"?

This is the forum to discuss religion. I am allowed my freedom of speech as long as it does not harm anybody. My views on Christianity is not at all the same as you calling a gay man stupid.

This thread needs a child's pic with a caption like....

When will you talk to your kid about the dangers of religion?

You are accusing the religious parents of child abuse! Oh and nobody said that being gay made you stupid, but you did say that religious parents are bad parents. You are a hypocrite talking about your freedom of speech when you impede others freedom of speech.

The first 57 seconds of it.

No, no, no, it does not! That video, or at least its first 57 seconds, conveniently presents some perverted extrapolations commonly found within certain elements of sectarian religion ... and that is all it is: an extrapolation of its own religious kind.

So watch that video and tell me parents who feed their kids with that aren't bad parents. Do it!

Please watch the whole video before you share you're opinion.

Also please let's not turn this into a Religious flame war. This isn't to argue the validity of Religion but to argue how Religion can damage children.
