I was talking to a woman once (yes fellas, it can happen!). It got onto her first relationship. She was from London, he Poland (can't remember where). Met through an e-pal site, and fell in love, as young people are wont to do, and had a long distance relationship. A year or two later, when Poland joined the EU, he moved to London. His behaviour changed pretty quickly - much more petty and avaricious and generally unpleasant. She said, "I don't know what you believe in, and I'm sure I sound mad, but I was convinced he was posessed.".

Remember, kids: Capitalism - just say 'no'.

Not sure I get what one thing has to do with the other- capitalism and demonic possession.

Though I can envision one obvious problem if exorcism is no longer monopolized by the church, and can be done by any freelance exorcist for a fee.

The problem is if you fail to pay your exorcist.

You would get repossessed!

Perhaps it's that feeling of 'starvation'? East Germans experienced the same thing just after the Berlin Wall fell and for a fair few years afterwards.

Bear in mind that Poland got rid of Communism in 1989. I do think it's probably an historic hangover from the days of Communism, when they really did have very little in comparison to the West (although they did better than some of the other Soviet satellite states).

You want me to give you state-regulated, state-produced bland porn that no-one can get off to?

Now, back to my specialised Filipino Catholic nun spanking porn.
