Well, I decided to do it.

Here's one for you, my piebald friend. Enjoy it.

We got it John 14:12:

12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do;

So okay. There ia a good chance you know at least one person you are absolutely certain truly believes in Jesus as 2nd person of the Trinity as understood in Nicene Christianity.

Examine closely what that person has done / is doing / is likely to do.

Now, which of these propositions or which combination would you say applies?

A. The person does / has done greater things than Jesus.

B The person has done nothing that great yet, but in due course will.

C. Jesus never actually said that.

D. Jesus said it, but did not know everything.

E. We have no way to assess the value of what eith that person or Jesus has done.

-----------------

There. Lots of potential; we here have discussed this several times and found it most interesting. Enjoy working with it, try not to waste the opportunity.

Eventually I may share our conclusions with the most serious discutants.

Looking forward to seeing yours.

Thank you for sharing.

As they say.

Though given his penchant for spiritualizing and the fact he never refers to his technical raining, I think we could rule out cell phones.

Which some propose as the latest advance on the devil's invention of the telephone.

Jimmy Swaggart, Oral Roberts, James Bakker, all made more money than Jesus ever dreamed of.

I'm not absolutely certain that all of the above characters truly believed that Jesus was the second person of the trinity. However, they were able to make a lot of money off of many people who may have regarded Jesus as the second person of the trinity.

How are the mighty fallen tripping over their feet of clay. I had high hopes, trusting you would soar with that one. And instead, mind in the mire of filthy mazuma .....mazooma ...

ACH - NO!! ! I don't believe it. I go to check preferred spelling, and like it or nay, in Kansas City - near my brother - there is an actual Mazuma Credit Union!

Check it out.

Interesting etymology there. I'm guessing the credit union offers fixed rates?

No doubt in 1948 it seemed like a good idea, and they appear respectable.

But, I have today, I would feel more comfortable if my checks did not say Mazuma. Too much like play money I might have had in - well, in 1948.
