Actually, Slayer's bassist/vocalist, tom araya, is a devout catholic...

Even I have to laugh at that one...

To be serious, though, the OT is replete with celebration and dancing as part of worship. I'm reading through 2 Samuel right now, and I came across this: 2 Samuel 6:20--When David returned home to bless his household, Saul's daughter Michal came out to meet him. "How the king of Israel honored himself today!" she said. "He exposed himself today in the sight of the slave girls of his subjects like a vulgar person would expose himself."

Vs. 21-22: David replied to Michal, "I was dancing before the Lord who chose me over your father and his whole family to appoint me ruler over the Lord's people Israel. I will celebrate before the Lord, and I will humble myself even more and humiliate myself. I will be honored by the slave girls you spoke about."

Apparently God has no problem with a little booty-shaking every now and then.

But like "The Preacher" said (Ecclesiastes), there is a time and a place for everything. I'm of the persuasion that worship in a house of God or house of prayer ought to be followed with some amount of dignity and restraint. I'm concerned that certain aspects of "worship" are mainly only for show and not a thrust towards genuine reverence for God. We SBC'ers tend to be a bit reserved in our worship (though this has been changing in recent decades), but even I have to admit the camera has caught me "cuttin' loose" in church on occasion.

So, yeah... Funny video.

Personally I like this better:

I think he meant to spell it "crytooptimist," I guess meaning a secret or hidden optimist.

Yes, me too, but that was pitch perfect. That is exactly how one would dance to Slayer, if one were to actually attempt that. Reminds of that scene in Wild At Heart where they dance to a thrash band.
