David Cameron as stated that "people who are incapacitated through no fault of their own" should get incapacity benefit and at the same time said that "Of course someone who has a drink or drug problem has a problem...But is it OK to leave these people on incapacity benefit, year after year, not examining their circumstances, not seeing if we can help them? It traps people in long-term poverty and it is not good enough."

I personal do find this to be double standards from the Oxbridge educated, Old Etonian, Bullingdon Club member & stockbroker's son who as had allegations make against him of recreationally use of cannabis and cocaine.

What with the spending cuts & lack of growth in the job market is this wise? The NHS as to cut its cloth so medical help for addicts to get back into work will be at a lost. Plus is in it time that the gambling addicts RBS & Northern Rock come off 'incapcity benefit'?
