Is Ray Stevens still around? Oy! Or is he different.

How does Obama money [your title] differ from confederate currency?

What that cracker conveniently forgets is that all that borrowing started with Bush.

How does that absolve Obama from increasing spending exponentially from the Bush era? How does that absolve Obama from helping Barney Frank block banking reform 5 years before the economy crashed?

Doesn't part of that budget include the war costs, which Bush had excluded?

Historically incorrect. We fought WW2 with borrowed money. The borrowing started to go out of control in the Lyndon Johnson administration. In his administration debt of was monetized and the gold window for international trade was closed.

After the Johnson Administration all of our money was debt instruments. In short, our cash became I.O.U. s. As long as our credit was good we could keep on borrowing and spending. It was essentially living on credit cards.

I was thinking about our recent history. But yes, you're absolutely correct.

It is an error to look at history in a near-sighted manner. Our problems originated from thinking and conditions that have existed several generations. If you really want to see when American became a protofascist state or fascistoid you have to go back as far as the Lincoln administration or perhaps the Wilson administration. During the Great War (aka WWI) the railroads of the United States were nationalized outright and were not returned to their rightful owners until 1920.
