I mean, think about it, if God exists, and he is the maximally great being, then well... he's maximally endowed with certain virtues! So, really, think about how Joseph compares, y'know, a mere mortal against a divine stud. Don't you think he'd now live his life in perpetual inferiority issues? I mean, Mary will never be as satisfied.

Why is this? Just so that way God could have a guy killed. What a jerk.

it somehow reminds me of when harry met sally.... and she faked an orgasm at the restaurant... that is what i picture in my head when mary was having fun and became pregnant... and when looking at the picture in the OP... it wouldn't have been much fun for joseph to witness how much fun she had.... knowing he was going to pay for it many years to come. poor chap.

But really, wasn't the consequence for rape just the payment of an ass or a cow or something to the victim's father, husband, or owner? Or something along those lines...
