I am apolitical. I am Thomas the Doubter. I am the Cat that Walks by Himself. I distrust Politicians. I resent Politics. The government will never be run by people who know what they are doing, and as long as it is not the less the government tries to fix the better off we will be.

There is no corporate name for it.

As with my philosophy that leans towards Buddhism, so are my politics also the "middle way." Either extreme is too, well, extreme. I am a moderate centrist, but lean more towards the left. The unabashed selfishness, greed, and anti-science ignorance of some on the right really offends me. Some on the left are asking for everyone to be forced to be compassionate to others. Such enforced compassion isn't realizable and misses the point too.

I believe in the co-existence of a free market and social assistance rather than either one or the other. I am a centrist but not necessarily moderate since I lean either heavily left or right on issues. For the most part I lean to the right. I don't believe taxation is theft since with great power comes great responsibility, but I do want it to be kept to a reasonable level as any sort of cause, ideal, or campaign is bound to have goal post shifting when it comes to pouring money into it. I don't believe education is the cure to all of society's ills as the family unit is the moral fabric of society. This doesn't mean that "family values" have to come from religion but from parents who raise their kids to be decent people.

I want a more Libertarian minimal Federal government and shift more power back to the states to deal with most of our domestic issues.

I have doubts that this will be an unbiased survey. You'll get overrepresentation of strong ideologies, the sort that will tend to frequent political forums. A major problem will be that forums develop cultures over time, and so the culture of this forum will likely provide a confounding variable(and this is a problem because cultures can be prone to self-reinforcement and path dependency to some degree, and I don't say this with any intent on belittling PPR).

Note: None of these is to say this won't advance knowledge, or that better methods are easily implemented, and you may be aware of any concern of this nature, I just.... wanted to express some concerns on the issue. I would imagine that if you could find a way to randomly sample a geographic AS population and compare their responses to the background population, this would account for some of the problems better, but that's probably rather expensive and it can be difficult to find AS people.

..... In short, I don't know the point of what I am saying or why I am saying it. But, whatever...

I am a part of Green Party, but I vote for Democrat and Republican depending on which administration running seems like the lesser evil.

Wiping out enemy planets from orbit, terraforming them, and colonizing them while expanding ever outward is the way to go.

I voted for 'Socialism' - I believe in a quasi-libertarian form of the Socialist and Marxist system.

Far right, but willing to consider more [American] centrist doctrines in economic policy.
