That's just one example. Can't pass a law through legal means? He does it anyway through executive order.

Sieg Heil Obama!

^Comparing Obama to Hitler is stepping way over the boundary. If he actually were like Hitler, there would be government agents escorting you to a death camp right about now.

I don't see why not. He's a charismatic speaker and he's doing a great job destroying the country and making enemies out of every other country. I see a parallel.

You know, this thread really makes me think the case for deportation is stronger than I originally thought. America needs to get rid of it's dead weight that only exists to drain the system of vitality, and we need to keep the people who actually can make America great. America needs to start deporting conservatives and giving it's Mexican immigrants citizenship.

So with a straight face you think the weakest president since Carter is a dictator?

Yes, they are. And they vote in large numbers. As I've been telling you people for years, democracy is a stupid idea.

A missantropic view on democracy ;) While I sometimes tend to agree with that about democracy, I wonder though if history justifies democracy as the lesser of all evils (to avoid saying the best system). I mean, are there alternative systems that support freedom, human rights, social justice, reform and all that, that we can get from history, as that is what we get under democratic governments in the 20th century?

well, it seems to me that without democracy, the US would be run by republicans, and be a right-wing (likely far on the spectrum) nation, although some people already think it is.

Enlightened despotism. Or some form of technocratic republic, eg one where involvement in civil government is restricted to the educated classes.

Not sure what you're asking there. I know logic fails liberalism, and that's okay since it's all politics and nothing else anyway. :)

One can not argue with the wind, even if it is a fart.

Perhaps criticism is lost on you, and yet you want democracy.

Obama is the "educated classes". He's doing great don't you think?

The original arguments for the constitutional government in America is based around the common man. History, it's what we're made of.

Better than Bush, at least.

No it isn't. American government was very elitist at the start.

I used to think this was a bad idea. Now, I think you may be on to something. We've dumbed it down substantially. Every idiot with a twitter account is an 'expert' on something, and the real experts are dismissed as elitists. I don't go visit a high school dropout when I'm sick. By the same logic, I'd prefer not to leave the fate of our country to people who can't distinguish a government benefit from a paycheck. Perhaps you are wise beyond your years.

Are you a bot?
or using a mechanical translator?
How do you know what I want democracy or other wise?
I fear you don't have a firm grasp on the issues at hand.

From what I've read the war is worse under Obama than it was under Bush.
