Two studies, two conclusions, why the outright bias?

Let us admit it, it is obvious within miles which of the two studies is disgustingly biased, and exaggerated (80% lol). The main question is why? What's with women rights that make groups of people so desperate to stop it that they make ridicule of themselves like that?

I read a good article on the how and why and the history of that sort of thing. Basically it goes back to when the tobacco industry realized that they really were killing people.

The object is not to prove your case but to cast doubt - any doubt - on the opposing viewpoint.
