What political parties support you?
All parties are silly, both at the federal and provincial levels. Therefore, I vote for the silliest every time. I voted a few times for the Communists or the Marxist-Leninists, but I hope I will get a Christian Heritage candidate some day.
Frankly I love how Quebeckers tend to vote. Quebec doesn't seem to give any party the time of day, it makes them all come crawling, and it isn't afraid to punish them for misbehaviour - there's little "I have always voted this way" rigidity. I think it's the only voting bloc in North America that actually gets what democracy is supposed to be about.
The pirate party germany has not much content.
I think data security in the Internet is important, and many older parties are incompetent on this topic.
But on important topics like foreign or financially policy the pirate party is very incompetent.
I'm interested in strange and unimportant parties (but I don't want to vote strange parties).
For example in France is a party which support a monarchy, or in Germany are two fun parties.
But I don't know enough about foreign parties that I could support them, but if I would live in the USA I would rather support the democrats than the republicans.

I try not to support either. There's no way I'm choosing over a douche bag and a s**t sandwich. I'm looking for champagne.

I wish we didn't have political parties.
But what would be the alternative?
Individuals running for office on their own merits.
NT politics is a manifestation of NT herd behavior.

That works if you have a very small government that doesn't do much. That is fine by your vision of society. For most other people's visions political parties are a necessary evil in order to get anything done. Some of the problems of political parties can be alleviated somewhat if you have a grassroots party where all policies must pass a vote of the members (this is how Green Parties operate and it prevents some of the top-down rule that you see in most political parties_.
I've actually never voted for anyone my whole life. The politicians just didn't seem to have me in mind. I may vote this year, but given by detestation of lines and queues, I probably won't. If they allowed people to vote over the internet then I would definitely vote this year.

Both posts are right. But even if you would prohibit parties, some persons with much political influence would form groups like all NT's.
In most of all political discussions 90% of the citizen don't know much, but they elect the political leaders and forming their own opinions.(I also sometimes don't know enough). So sadly, populism is a result of a NT democracy. I don't know if there would be populism in a Aspie democracy.
I, for myself dislike the idea of a too small government, because I don't want a dominance of big companies.
I like the idea of intra-party democracy (In a previous post, I critizise the pirate party Germany, but this party is also an example for intra-party democracy)

Many of the mega-corporations exist because of government decree or government involvement in the workings of the market place. Government regulations which stifle the entry of small firms end up making the very corporations you do not like.
The biggest supporter of government regulations and standards are the firms which have a dominant position in the market and which to inhibit the competition of smaller smarter companies.

Example, please? Because I can more readily see how market realities form big corporations, especially in fields with high entry costs.

I think that some kinds of regulation could regulate big companies and some kinds of regulation could regulate small companies.
It is maybe better for example to divide a monopolistic company than to increase for example taxes for all companies.
The best would be if our economy would work without much intervene of a government but sometimes it is necessary.

There are no politicians that support me or us as a whole. They keep telling us one thing and doing another and the other thing is always making us poorer and them richer. I don't even vote anymore since it's not doing any good. We just keep loosing our freedoms over some pretty stupid things. I've been seeing stories where people get arrested for chowing gun in school. it's getting crazy now.
This is what the country's going to. I don't support either party because it all goes the same way.
Areested for burping in class
arrested for running at recces
arrested for steal ice worth $1.80
arrested for farting in class
Do I even need to say anymore of how bad politicians are for this world and how useless they really are. No matter who we vote for, this crap is only going to get worse.
