Pretty much just what I asked, I don't understand why people still think that.

Because they are stupid and/or ignorant.

Next question.

Along with the birther movement, it is a way to express racial bigotry without making it look like it.

Basically that. His dad was a Muslim and he has a Muslim name. I don't think it's really any deeper than that for most people. You gotta realize that there is decent portion of the population that believes that the moon landing was faked and that Elvis is out there chilling with Andy Kaufman and Tupac.

As for why it breaks down on partisan lines with Obama, I think it's simply because people will naturally be more willing to believe in bad things about someone they dislike. If you asked democrats if they believed that George Bush orchestrated 9/11 you'd get a much higher % than if you asked republicans.

Surprisingly, more Republicans than Democrats are in the so-called 9/11 "truth" movement. However, the Illuminati conspiracy itself originally came out of the right wing.

Bowing to and kissing the hand of King Abdullah didn't help matters any.
That was below the stature of any US president, the office of the president, and America as a whole.
He should have just been abandoned over there to be with his royal master but then we'd be stuck with that idiot Biden.

What are you advocating?

"That was below the stature of any US president, the office of the president, and America as a whole."
/\ I already said it. To be more blunt, he is undeserving of the office he holds, period.
I would hold the same belief for any other US president that did the same.
Call me clairvoyant but I have a feeling you won't agree.

Amazing what you can do with Photoshop, aint it? :D
Don't think for a minute I wouldn't boot him out of office just the same, though.

I don't see anything wrong with Biden. He sort of just stands next to Obama looking...not pretty. Old. Yes. That.

He seems like an aspie to me, from when he does give speeches or make jokes - especially when Obama didn't expect/want him to.

For anyone representing the United States it should be left at a sincere and firm handshake with the associated pleasantries befitting the occasion, nothing more.
I'm done with is because there isn't much more for me to add.

So we should go with American customs even if we are not in the United states?
