Might Guantanamo Bay be most symbolic of fascism?

Or, a more direct way to put it: is it the most accurate evidence that the US is close to what Germany was like under the Nazis?

I mean, it is very much just like a concentration camp (although I've personally been a bit slow to realize that... just did while watching Boy in Striped Pajamas, due to obvious parallels). Then again, does that mean Jews were substituted by 'terrorists'? (And, of course, while senseless acts of violence should be condemned, many detainees there haven't even been convicted.)
