If Romney had been the same guy who was governor of Massachusetts, and not the wingnut "severely conservative" primary candidate who had to pander to a rabid, racist, misogynistic, fundie base, he would probably have won.
Romney is a schmuck and he does not have a genuine central core of political beliefs. He is as changeable as the weather.
The UK is working on 'austerity,' the US is not. Regardless of the actual numbers, conservatives here generally want austerity (most of them feeling quite secure that it wouldn't impact them directly).
In all fairness, Either Putin or this monk would be a better leader for the US from a European point of view.. . . Admittedly. . . I pay more attention to Russia and China than America. . . And the German empire. . Sorry! I ment the EU.

Right now, would you consider the UK a Socialist (in the sense used in that image) country?
If not, what differences between Cameron's policy and Obama's policy make you think that way?
Cameron believe in Hayek, Obama is a Keynesian. Keynesian believe that the paradox of thrift, will stall the economy, and believe in spending your way out of recession is best.

Growth under Keynesian economy is healthy, artificial and unhealthy.
