Afterall, they should apparently have the right to do whatever they want with their body.

And doctors or physiatrists shouldn't talk to them either, because of course that would be influencing their right to choose.

Profiled for future reading and possibly posting.

Want to see how this develops (Read: BROUHAHA) before I think about diving in.

How would you like it if some one force fed you?

If she'll ever be cured of anorexia, she'll probably be grateful.

Give 'em help. If they won't take it, screw 'em. Their death will improve the gene pool.

No—I'm merely putting Occam's Razor to use again.

People are perverse. What you consider simple and logical might not be the case.

No, that´s not right. Imagine your mother, sister or daughter had anorexia. Would you let her starve to death since she has the right to do with her body whatever she wants to?

What about the ones who do go in for treatment because they can't get over it themselves? What about children who have it? Only the parent knows what's best for them and a kid and teen is too young to decide for themselves. I was still too young at age 14 to decide for myself what I wanted even though I wasn't an anorexic then, I wanted to make my boobs smaller. Good thing they set their foot down and didn't let me do it because I may have regretted it. Heck some adults still aren't capable of making decisions because they regret their choices later in life like having a hysterectomy whatever it's called. That is why it's so difficult to get fixed when you are childfree because doctors are trying to avoid lawsuits and they don't know that you will change your mind and regret it and then sue the hospital for your choice because it's not reversible.

Should we force feed anorexic women (and anorexic men too don't forget that there are anorexic men) or just give food to poor hungry people who desparately want it, but can't get it?

I've never taken the time to understand the condition. Why do people not eat? If its for looks, could we simply shame their ugly frail looking bodies into eating again? Incentivize them by glorifying a more realistic ideal to aspire to?
