No I never used it. What made me mad was the idea that was crushed. That people could come together, like minded, and form a marketplace of ideas without force or coercion. Do we freaking need to resort to a revolution for these dipshits to understand? Sorry. Why the hell do we need any of these politicians? Why can't we all become part of the collective agora?

But I'm not surprised the FBI is claiming a murder happened in Canada that the Canadians don't actually know about. Those Canucks are useless at running a country, right?

I'd be joining in your outrage, but the indictments include a couple of attempted contract killings in addition to the running a black market stuff, and that's pretty unambiguously criminal in my book.

A couple of contract killings... which only the FBI know about, and not, say, the police in the area they supposedly took place. It's not uncommon for the US government to simply invent charges if they want to dispose of people (for example, accusing someone of insider trading if they refuse to hand over users data).

It's not like they shut down eBay...

A gathering place to conspire to commit murder ... buy and sell illegal drugs ... engage in prostitution ... I'm happy that Silk Road was shut down. The most sophisticated illegal marketplace and black-market bazaar on the Internet, with $1,200,000,000 in illicit, tax-free trade. I'm only disturbed that it took the Feds two years to shut it down, even though the founder used his personal email account in his transactions.

I can't comment on all the marketplace across there, but there were never any hit sold on there. Matter of fact, most people laughed at those as frauds. The worse thing you were going to get on there is maybe copyright infringement, fake id, and drugs. lord knows we can't have that! Why, you need to believe in government and let it into your heart XD . (I loved how southpark mocked how the government has been turned into a civil religion XD. ) And lord forbid, I get some coochy for cash. Mean while, in SoCal, they will actually pay me to sleep around ! Perhaps we have learned that we do not live in a free market. Next time a liberal or socialist makes a comment about the ills of free markets, offer this up.

I am not so much mad he was caught, as much as it being shut down. I just hate how the government does not allow voluntary commerce. To me, it seems like the only peaceful way we have to overthrow the government is the agora. If this fails, then the only way left to revolution is for people to take up arms, which I disagree with on consequential grounds and deontological grounds . But yeah, I gotcha. I wondered how I would have dealt with it. Normally, if something like this happened in a free economy, how would a person respond?

So? What is it any business of yours? I am not saying meth is a good health decision, but what right does a government have in telling me what to eat, smoke, drink, or do? I thought liberals were for freedom. I guess I am wrong.

So you would want someone selling meth or PCP living next door to you?Think of the common good,do you want to live in a neighborhood with people selling gack or shermans on the street corner?
The public has to pay when these jeetered out people show up at emergency rooms,the cost of the babies born to addicts,loss of real estate value for your home if they are next door,cost of law enforcement to deal with tweakers,if they have Medicaid,the cost of fixing their teeth,
the costs that landlords have to pay to clean up the toxic dump that the cooks leave behind.
