What do you guys think? (Btw, I don't like them, infact I cannot stand both of these politicians, if you ask me).

I voted yeas, as they would be a hell of a lot saner than Ted Cruz or Rand Paul who will more likely be running. Not that I'd vote for McCain and Graham, but if the Republicans do reach the White House, I'd rather have them than any of those tea bagger/ Randian ideologues.

I feel the same. Both are big time war mongerers. They are neither liked by Democrats, nor Republicans. I wonder how they would fair in a presidential primary.

I've edited the subject line of this thread. "My Poll" was pretty useless as an indicator to the nature of the thread.

Geezer McCain blew it the first time when he picked Caribou Barbie for a running mate. What would convince anyone that he made a better choice this time?

McCain will be 80 years old in 2016. His health was already an issue in the 2008 campaign. It would be even more so if he chooses to run again 8 years later.

If the Republicans are going to put up a more moderate candidate, it will likely be Christie (who is now literally less of a man due to gastric banding surgery), and not McCain.

It doesn't really matter, presidents are just puppets anyhow.

My vote is for "Potted house plant" & "Doorstop".

Yes and they should run against Cory Booker.

The race is more likely to be Christie Vs Clinton in which we all lose. as there is no real difference between them.

While I'd never vote for either (unless some impossible situation arose where they ran against a Cruz/Paul ticket), I have to ask - - what makes them such a disgrace to America?

The fact that they don't believe in freedom? They think the WORLD is a battlefield and whatever our government does to defend itself and its secrets is justified. They worship the state just like all neoconservatives, they are frauds. All they want is blood and to enslave the American people.

Briefly:
Christie is against abortion (with exceptions: rape and threat to mother's life); Clinton is pro-choice (but wants fewer abortions)

Clinton wants to raise business taxes; Christie wants to cut them

Christie is against gay marriage; Clinton is in favour.

They differ on three of the most controversial issues (at least in America), but are united on some centrist issues like green energy, decriminalisation of drugs, expanding healthcare...

Better to have two viable selections who differ slightly than one crazy selection and one guy who is somewhere between "alright" and "not quite as bad". This would actually afford America an element of choice that they didn't have with either Obama election.

Oh my god no. Christie and Clinton aren't any different than each other, neither are they from Obama. They are big government, big war, surveillance state fascists. They couldn't be further from being an actual choice, NOTHING changes with Christie, Clinton, Obama, or Romney.

Duly noted, Jacoby thinks the government is out to get him.

In other news, Moviefan is a God-fearing Christian, Fnord likes science, thomas dislikes America and Dox likes guns.
