What are activities/things that society says can be replicated online, that will die out over the next 10 years?

This is scary, to think it's inevitable and unavoidable, and 10-20 years is a rather short time. I have a lot of catching up to do with my brick-and-mortar activities. :(

Some people still think I'm a freak/idiot because I love the old-school. I think in my lifetime (I am 22) I'll see the beauty of the human race and nature become obsolete, and we'll be like the humans in Wall-E. I didn't see that movie, but I know it had a bad premise.

You can usually avoid losing your post by waiting a few moments for the server to be less busy then clicking the back button on your browser then submitting it again. If the server is very busy you may need to wait a few minutes. The only times I've lost posts is when that bloody CloudFlare f*cks with me.

Landline phones

CD's

Maps in convenience stores

Payphones if any are still around

Red tape registering in doctors offices, hospitals, hotels, car rentals

Paper personal checks

Some magazines because they will be online only

The trend toward sacrificing privacy for convenience will continue.

We will have a silicon chip implanted in our skin with all our medical records, and with GPS info. So if you get in a coma in an accident they immediately know who you are, and what your med history is, in the nearest emergency room. Your loved ones will be able to track you on a computer map at all times. But so will big brother.

So privacy will be out the door. But we will have unlimited convenience.

Sure it would help if I get in a comma, but right now my problem is with my periods. Would it still help? ;-)

(Sorry, I don't usually pick on typos, but that one jumped at me and I'm in a silly mood)

I think people are mad to download music. Mp3s are so inferior to CD quality.

There is no wage slavery.

The other two will be here 50 years from now.

If anybody reads this post and says I'm an idiot for hating convenience over anything else sometimes, you just proved my point.

The physical copy of the CD w/sleeve is usually better for collection purposes too, especially if you're a big fan of the artist.
