Has that link changed your view on Communism?

The article doesnt even mention the East Prussian Holocaust, tying live Women between tanks to tear them apart, the mass rapes of every female above the age of 8, the sinking of the Wilhelm Gustloff and the taking of Prussian Women as war reparations to die in the slave labour camps.
The mass murdering of the fleeing refugees, mainly Women and children.

No, as none of those actually fit the definition of communism....none of those are classless societies.

I believe in communism, like communities sharing resources, rather than a capitalist system where in the end a few rich people own almost everything.

But it's really democracy, if people voted for more communist policies that would be good. But human nature is really greed so it won't happen.

But I believe in personal freedoms like people should be able to do what they want without the state telling them what to do. But you have to have laws

Appletheclown, communism does not equal dictatorship. You are confusing what communism is. If you actually look at it, it is well meaning.

Like North Korea also calls itself the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK). Which it isn't democratic, it's obviously a dictatorship.

Russian "Communism" was just a trick to get the peasants to overthrow their Monarchy so a different ruling elite could take their place, leaving the peasant class even worst off than before.

There will never be a country in which everybody happily marches off each morning to whatever job the Collective assigns him, eager to work hard all day for the benefit of others with nary a thought for himself. That may be a fair description of ants, if ants had complex emotions and ethical theories, but it does not describe human beings.

Collectivism has now been tried in every conceivable form and in dozens of countries, and outside some small, voluntary religious communities, it has always resulted in slavery, famine, and death. At this point for any adult to look at the historical record and say "Oh, it just hasn't been implemented right, my gang would do it better," requires an act of willful evasion which boggles my mind.

Well I think you just hit the main point. It does not matter what your views are, the real test is being universally opposed to totalitarianism.
